Below is a picture proving spring has finally sprung. This daffodil is in my front yard right now. The funny thing is I did not plant it. It just showed up, now I am not an expert gardener yet, but I know that a daffodil is a bulb and they do not travel in the wind, you have to plant them. I am in love with tulips and that is why the bed this little guy showed up in was planted with tulips 2 growing season ago. You might think that maybe it was a stray from many years ago, planted by whomever lived in this house before us. But, you would be wrong again, I actually created that bed by removing the grass and adding the dirt. The only thing I can think of is that we have crafty squirrels here in north Spokane, maybe one transplanted it from someone else's garden last fall. Any ideas? I am also excited to see my tulips this year, the first year they were dark purple and light purple, last year they were pink and purple and this year they look like they might be yellow. The glory of crossbreeding.
My husband is amazing, he built me this multifunctional wall shelf. He knows I love mugs and tea so he added a shelf and hooks to my spice rack. I could not be luckier!

Cool rack...tell nick I'll take one also, please!
My theory is that there was a lone daffodil in the bag of tulips when you planted them...cause lets me honest, our squirrels are sneaky but really not that smart!
Love the rack! Good job Nick! Handy husbands are the best.
